Possible to run your Own Server

$

Ok so in the settings I found Server Address with the value of: std.hamachi.logmein.com.

If it possible to run your own server in like a VM. I have looked around the site and no software/OS is available to run your own Hamachi Server (as expected). I am not asking about your Pro Plans and the features that you get but rather I am asking if anyone has created a Hamachi Server that can run in a VM and replace Hamachi Servers for your own limit-less Hamachi Networks. Any info can help.

Thanks, Noah.

Hamachi breaks my internet.

Never had a problem with Hamachi until now. Attempted to play 7 Days To Die on Steam with a friend of mine and it worked... For about 10 minutes. Now Hamachi is responsible for breaking my internet on multiple occasions.

Each time my friend attempts to connect to the server, it will time him out of the game (which I can see happen in the games' console window) and my internet will grind completely to a halt. Discord will disconnect, reboot and then fail to restart, web pages will refuse to load and the direct tunnel between me and my friend will become blocked.

Upon killing Hamachi with Task Manager (which is the ONLY way to stop this crap happening), the network will revert back to its previous WORKING state, until he tries to join again, and then Hamachi does it all over again. My question is, why in the everloving hell is Hamachi doing this, and what on Earth can I do to fix it? It's really starting to get on my nerves.

I got the error in the subject and have had no success finding a solution. Is there any way that I can resolve this problem? Other than uninstalling this program and never using it again.

Hamachi-Login fails with proxy

Hi,

setup:

plain Windows 7 Pro with security updates

Hamachi 2.2.0.579

i downloaded and installed Hamachi 2.2.0.579 via proxy. I was able to register with Hamachi using the proxy i configured in the hamachi settings.

Unfortunately the login itself does not work.

The dialogbox with an error sign stated (german version):

"Keine Verbindung zum LogMeIn-Anmeldedienst möglich.

Bitte versuchen Sie es später erneut."

(Translation: No connection to LogMeIn-Login-service possible. Please try again later.)

This is a reproducable bug, what's the best way to report that?

Network Full Error - Web Console Shows 2/5 slots Free

Hello,

I'm having an issue with a network I setup for a customer.  They are on the free tier with 3/5 slots used.

They had installed the Hamachi software on another laptop bringing them up to a total of 4 machines.  This laptop soon had some unrelated problems and was not being used.  A new laptop was purchased and Hamachi was installed and connected, but due to an install error the computer was added to the network but couldn't access the network itself.  This brought the network up to 5/5.

I removed the old laptop and the new laptop from the network and their Web Console shows the network has 2 slots available.  However, after completely uninstalling the Hamachi software from the laptops, re-installing on the new laptop and attempting to connect I get an error message that reads: "Error: This network appears to be full".

Anyone else experienced this before? Is this just a time delay issue with the servers syncing up and should self-resolve after about 24 hours?  I attempted to call the LogMeIn support line twice and sat on hold listening to a dial tone for close 45 minutes both times.

Thanks,

Brett

Configuring HomeGroup on a local network where Hamachi is installed

I support a small business network with 3 computers, all running Windows 10. Two are Creators Edition, one is the version just prior to that. I have installed Hamachi on all 3 computers. All 3 are set up to auto-update Hamachi and all are running the most recent version, 2.2.0.579.

Some time ago I set up HomeGroup on this network to allow them to share documents, pictures, etc among all 3 computers. Now the HomeGroup is no longer working, the HomeGroup has been mysteriously dropped from two of the computers. When I try to set it up again, Windows tells me no HomeGroup is detected on this network.

This has happened in the past, and the fix was to disable Hamachi on all 3 computers, delete the HomeGroup from the network, reboot all 3 computers, and restart them one at a time and set them up from scratch into the HomeGroup. I'll be trying that in the next couple of days and hopefully that will fix things again. But I'm concerned that once I turn Hamachi back on again, we'll have the same issue.

Is there something I am doing wrong that is causing this behavior, or is there something I need to do differently to prevent it from happening again?

I looked through the forum posts and see some things about HomeGroups, but mostly dealing with setting them up through the Hamachi gateway. I'm more interested in setting one up locally, but still having Hamachi installed for remote support purposes.

I wanted to note that Internet works on all 3 computers, so that's not an issue.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

Fully removing Hamachi

Hello,

I have a Mac and I am not very tech savvy so I may not have all details to help with a solution. Either way, about two years ago I mistakenly downloaded LogMeIn Hamachi for something I thought I needed it for (I don't remember what). I found out I didn't need it and tried to delete it right away, but it kept coming back. It wasn't harmful per se, but it was obnoxious to see it always ingering at the top of my screen. About a week ago I started to google how to get rid of it because I had already deleted the application (which I thought would do the trick). I found many different places that this thing had buried its components and started to remove those. But then I found a whole folder that does not belong on my computer. It is found in my hard drive under "Logs," but every time I move it to my recycle bin, it comes back in five seconds. I also cannot open it because it says I don't "have permission to" which I don't understand.

If there's anyone that could help me figure out how to get rid of this, please reply. I am a little wary of trying to download this again just to delete it because I do not want to go through this tiring process again and risk yet another virus on my computer.

Thank you

Region Blocking

I'd just like to note out that this program *Hamachi* which is supposedly a VPN program, actually needs a VPN Program to run, yes, I needed to use a VPN program to get Hamachi to connect to the servers and join the network my friends invited me to 3 hours earlier, 3 wasted hours and never thought that this piece of **bleep** for a VPN program is IP Blocking me.

The error was: Failed to connect to the Hamachi servers. with Diagnostic Tools reporting:

It's quite clear now that this program has Region Restrictions, as well as a **bleep**ty support, and I'm not saying this out of frustration at wasted effort, rather at the developers and managers lack of effort to clarify that this widely used program has certain restrictions, which were only imposed in newer versions of it.

I do not hold any hard feelings against the software company past that point, it is their product, it is their right to decide who should be able to use it and who shouldn't, but just a little bit of clarification is neat as it is also the Professional thing to do.

MacOS 10.13 High Sierra compatibility

Hamachi doesn't appear to work on MacOS 10.13, which is scheduled for release in 4 days (2017-09-25).

I am running the 10.13 GM candidate release. The previously installed Hamahci wouldn't run properly (tray icon but no UI and no functionality). Trying to install a new version will not even install. ("uncompressing failed" in the logs.

Hamachi no longer functioning on windows 10

I've been hosting a minecraft server for family & friends & we all connect with hamachi. It's been working fine until the other day when it all just stopped. Nothings changed or anything, Minecraft just no longer connects or detects the server.

We all connect in green & all states Direct Tunnel. We can use chat as that works fine. But what doesn't work is Ping & Ping-Local, they both time out. Also when diagnosing connection to specific client, we all get the same thing regardless.

Local results:
Adapter configuration: OK
Traffic test: Inbound traffic blocked, check firewall settings
Peer results: [***-***-809] (stars added myself)
Adapter configuration: OK
Traffic test: Inbound traffic blocked, check firewall settings

It can't be a firewall issue or anything, because as of a few days ago. They all ran perfectly fine.

Also what's more confusing. When we open up single player & open to LAN, comps connected with hamachi usually detects as a LAN game. It no longer does. Also, comps connected to my network/wifi can't view LAN games if hamachi is online. We have to turn off hamachi & all LAN games work normal over my network. Which would be fine if everyone was connected to my network, but they ain't. They use hamachi to connect to my server or other LAN games.

I've tried every trick google spits out & nothing I can do fixes it. It can't be a local issue to a few computers in my home.  Because I've connected over teamviewer to everyone else's computers & they too have exactly the same problem. Nothing seem's to work with Hamachi anymore!

So, here I am asking for help!
