Hamachi Ping times out, but other user can ping me

I've used Logmein hamachi for years without problems. Usually I use ti to spoof a LAN connection, so i can play Minecraft in "lan" mode with a friend.

 

Recently it hasn't worked. Everything looks fine, I can join my friend's network and he can join mine, I hover over his name and it says "direct tunnel" and his name bubble thing is green with wobbles either side of it as usual. but when I right click and select ping: Request timed out. Over and over.

 

I've been looking around on here and there are many of these threads. This one seems to be the most answered: /t5/Hamachi/Ping-Request-Timed-out/td-p/121480

 

The network engineer on there (post #4) said to "Delete the default gateway", but how exactly do you do this?

 

I also tried setting my metric as he recommended and it also didn't work.

 

I tried installign a different VPN thing (Evolve), which also isn't working, so unsurprisingly when I reinstalled hamachi and rebooted my PC it still didn't work.

 

I tried going to Windows Firewall with Advanced Security and dding ibound and Outboudn Rules for hamachi to allow it to connect and it still doesn't work.

 

What other magix network tat can I try? This might be broken due to either windows update or due to having a new ISP. Either way I'd appreciate some advice, as I've been at this for hours now.

Hamachi Tunneling Problems with windows 10

When I tried to play gmod with friends it said "failled connectipn after 4 retries" I ran the diagnostic tool.

 

Everything was fine exept for tunneling I checked It out and it said

 

 

(Insert username here) Offline

 

(Insert username here) Offline

 

 

My friends then said that they saw two of me!!

 

 

One was offline and one was online.

 

I only saw the offline me.

 

 

I NEED UR HELP I HAVE REINSTALLED FOUR FRACKING TIMES

 

 

Please help me, I have no idea what this is.

How do I add members to my network?

After supposedly adding my client to my network in network managements, when looking at my Hamachi application, I do see the network, but I can't see my client as a member. What am I doing wrong?

I really don't know how to fix this, I have re-installed hamachi 3 times.

I have followed the instructions of the network adapter FAQ, but none of the answers I need are there.

 

If it helps, a Dll file failed to install when installing hamachi.

IPv4 not matching?

So I have tons of problems now. I messed up my hamachi to the point that I lost my IPv4 address but I completely forgot what I did. I've fixed that part of the issue after reinstalling and probably some other stuff.

 

But now the thing is, is that my new ipv4 does not match the one in my ipconfig, like it used to. It's completely different. Everyone that connects to a network I make has the yellow warning symbol, and it's the vpn status issue. I checked my device manager, and my "Hamachi Network Interface" adapter also has a yellow warning symbol. It says "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)". It also doesn't show in my Network and Sharing Center. I've reinstalled so many times and I have no idea what to do now.

Hamachi VLAN not Working Properly

For the past couple of months I've been using Hamachi to play Heroes of Might and Magic via VLAN, it worked fine up until a few weeks ago. Now I'm no longer able to see the game when logged in. I'm able to Ping the other person and message them, they're able to Ping and message me. Just no longer am able to see the game they're hosting.

 

I'm currently using Windows 10 as is the other person, I've checked and all the drivers are updated for Hamachi. We've both uninstalled and reinstalled Hamachi.

 

Any ideas or suggestions?

Hamachi has to be started manually after each reboot despite it being in StartUp folder

Hamachi does not auto start with Windows even though it is meant to with an entry in the Start Up folder.  Also, on manual start up the Hamachi Service is always stopped and has to be restarted manually.

 

Is there some way to correct this?

I cant play FTB with my mate. please help. i can connect but everything other than me is frozen. but on his end (he is hosting the server on his PC) im frozen and his game continuse. we have a relayed tunnel and a ping of about 415 (ik thats crazy high). if there is anything you can say to help that will help a lot.

I am getting fed up with Hamachi in general, but it seems to be the "easiest" way to run a network for people to join my servers. I've had to mess around with it several times on my laptop to retake control of my account after my IP was changed. Now that I have a tower, I seem to not be able to use it at all. I completely factory reset my laptop, installed the hamachi client on my tower and logged in. To my surprise, no matter how many times I try to create a network it doesn't actually "make it". It'll appear like it is, but it won't be joinable by others. Going to the website, I can create a network that doesn't copy over to the client. Instead, it forces me to join it myself and not be in control of it clientside.

configuring Ubuntu 14.04 machine to be a gateway

I have an Ubuntu 14.04 server machine that I would like to be the gateway. It and other 14.04 machines can joiun netowrks and connect with a problem.  Thay all appear witht the [Guest] notation on the webpage despite doing :

 

sudo hamachi attach [account email address]
Sending attach request to [account email address] without networks .. ok

 

what would someone suggest?  Thanks
